Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Nursing Clerk at Deerwood Creek Community in Etobicoke to provide essential clerical support within the Nursing department and help coordinate timely information for residents and staff.

You will manage requisitions from MDS, schedule conferences, and compile monthly reports for the Director of Care, while tracking equipment and assisting with admissions and chart maintenance.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative role.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
• Detail oriented and deadline-driven.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support to assist in the smooth functioning of the Nursing department.
• Coordinate requisitions from MDS upon request.
• Schedule Resident conferences and multidisciplinary team conferences and maintain an up-to-date schedule.
• Compile monthly reports and profile lists for the Director of Care (DOC).
• Track mobility equipment and coordinate foot care services.
• Assist with ordering materials, conduct inventory and deliver office supplies.
• Update Resident information and ensure accurate records.
• Support admission and discharge documentation and ensure proper coding.
• Maintain and thin Resident charts according to policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
