Job summary

Qualifications

  • Eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Nurse Practitioner.

Job description

The Opportunity

Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Urgent Primary Care Clinic (UPCC) team in Quesnel. This flexible position offers the opportunity to provide urgent primary care to patients of all ages in a supportive, team-based environment. The NP will work alongside patient care assistants and other health professionals to address same-day health concerns and bridge gaps in access to care. This role does not involve patient panel attachment, allowing the NP to focus on episodic care and urgent needs. The clinic uses Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and care coordination.
