Job description

Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the team at the Skidegate Health Centre and the Haida Gwaii Hospital and Health Centre. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages in a supportive, community‑based setting. The NP will attach a patient panel. The role is well‑integrated within the clinic and supported by a collaborative team, including public health staff and administrative support. The clinic uses C‑MOIS Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.
  • Attach patients per the Provincial Attachment System (NNPBC).
  • Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate with public health staff and other team members to support patient care.
  • Participate in team‑based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Salary Range
  • New Graduate NP - $149,382
  • 1 Year Experience - $156,851
  • 2 Years Experience - $164,320
