Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority invites applications for a part-time Educator position in Ambulatory Care Medical Resources at Victoria Hospital, Prince Albert. Reporting to the Nursing Manager, the Educator works with staff, clients and students to deliver area-specific education and workshops.

Job Description: Reports to the Nursing Manager in the Ambulatory Care Dept. The Educator is self-directed and requires minimum supervision. Contacts with staff, clients/families, other health care professionals and students are an integral part of the position. Often acts as a resource to outside agencies, nursing homes, continuing nursing education, for in services/workshops on area specific and general patient education, as well as teaching/communication skills.
