Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the General Medical Nursing Unit at Parkland Integrated Health Centre in Shellbrook. The role is part-time regular (0.87 FTE) with day and night shifts.

The RN will provide comprehensive client-centered care under the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. Requirements include BScN, CRNS eligibility, and relevant certifications (BLS/ACLS).

Qualifications

• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
• Emergency Nursing Certification (or ACLS/BLS as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive client-centered care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing to ensure quality outcomes.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.
