Ascent Pro Care Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Nurse Aide who will deliver direct client care and also take on administrative and operational duties to support home-care services.

The successful candidate will perform standard care tasks and participate in scheduling, documentation, and quality assurance activities, while maintaining compassionate, professional client relationships and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Nursing Aide Certificate and/or Health Care Aide Certificate required.
• CPR and AED certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities essential.
• Ability to maintain accurate client and employee records.

Responsabilités

• Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
• Serve meal trays and feed patients.
• Weigh, lift, turn and position patients.
• Make beds and maintain patients' rooms.
• Bathe, dress and groom patients.
• Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as per care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client care and services.
