Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Nuclear Medicine Technology program with CAMRT certification.
• PET/CT certificate or equivalent training and education.
• IV therapy training as required by site practice.
• CPR-BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures with patient prep, positioning and image acquisition.
• Monitor patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast as required, and manage IV access.
• Ensure safety with ALARA principles and maintain quality control of equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine systems and document results.
• Maintain radiation safety, infection control and proper disposal of radioactive materials.
• Contribute to department operations, training, quality improvement and records management.
