Job summary

Providence Health Care is actively hiring for Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT Technologists to join the St. Paul’s Hospital team in Vancouver. The roles involve performing diagnostic procedures, patient care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art imaging setting.

Three regular full-time positions are available, with days/evenings rotation and onsite work. CAMRT certification, PET/CT training, and CPR/BCLS are required to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Nuclear Medicine Technology program and CAMRT Nuclear Medicine certification with 3 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Completion of PET/CT certificate or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Completion of Intravenous Therapy training per site practice and CPR certification - BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures with patient preparation, imaging acquisition, processing and quality control.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals, start IVs, and monitor patient safety throughout procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality through equipment QC, radiation monitoring and safe handling of radioactive materials.
