A regional health authority in British Columbia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Qualifications

• Certification with the CAMRT (Nuclear Medicine).
• CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BCLS) level.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of technical work including administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating Nuclear Medicine cameras.
• Monitor patients during examinations, including responding to emergencies per policies.
• Manage radioactive materials in compliance with license regulations.
• Prepare and dispense radioactive therapeutic agents under aseptic conditions.

Skills

Working knowledge of PACS and digital imaging systems

Safe work procedures with nuclear medicine equipment

Excellent communication with clients, families and health teams

Education
