We seek a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with CM RITO registration, a accredited Nuclear Medicine program, liability insurance, and strong team and tech skills to thrive in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• CMRITO registration in good standing is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program is required.
• Valid liability insurance as defined by the CMRITO.
• Strong clinical judgement with proven decision making and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and imaging technology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary team while maintaining high patient care standards.
• Ability to manage the physical demands of the role.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, STAT holidays and on call coverage.
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of Nuclear Medicine procedures per professional standards.
• Carry out QA procedures aligned with standards.
• Conduct radiation safety activities and area wipe tests.
• Receive and handle radiopharmaceuticals and maintain inventory.
• Archive and retrieve imaging data within PACS.
• Identify and report equipment issues to the Charge Technologist or Manager.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as directed by the Nuclear Medicine Physician.
• Support orientation and training of new technologists.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient care excellence.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for high-quality services.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
