Job summary

Providence Health Care is hiring Radiological Technologists to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging at St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. You will report to the Radiological Technologist Supervisor and work onsite, with rotating shifts as part of a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
• Demonstrated proficiency in safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic equipment.
• Proficient in performing radiographic examinations per departmental standards.
• Knowledgeable about PACS/RIS and electronic health record data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive and complete requisitions
• Enter relevant data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Prepare patients for examination
• Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment
• Process radiographs and archive acquired data
• Maintain cleanliness of examination rooms
• Provide input into quality improvement and risk management
