Gibbons Whistler, part of The Adventure Group, is seeking Door Hosts who are passionate about venue safety, customer service and de-escalation. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable nightlife experience in Whistler.

Be confident and calm under pressure, able to verify IDs, manage lines and enforce venue policies with respect. The role offers flexible schedules at a vibrant nightlife venue with perks and opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• 19+ years old with Serving It Right certification.
• Experience in security or hospitality is an asset.
• Ability to handle busy nightlife environments with safety and hospitality focus.
• Positive, professional, and approachable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a professional, friendly welcome.
• Check ID and verify legal drinking age to comply with liquor laws.
• Manage guest capacity for safety and comfort.
• Monitor guest behavior and crowd dynamics inside the venue.
• Identify and address potential security concerns before they escalate.
• De-escalate conflicts and resolve issues with professionalism and tact.
• Escort disruptive guests off premises safely.
• Support the management team in maintaining a secure, enjoyable environment for all guests.
