Qualifications

Schedule
- Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:00pm to finish.

Summary

This position supervises warehouse and distribution activities to promote safe, efficient, and optimal utilization of our facilities, equipment, and personnel. Ensures work standards are met to receive, put away, and ship merchandise effectively and accurately. Performs timely communication with colleagues and management. Maintains warehouse integrity and security. Performs all duties safely, accurately, and meets productivity goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Send/receive positive communications to colleagues.
  • Monitor receiving and shipping procedures for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate and reinforce policies and procedures, including safety, job knowledge, and performance standards.
  • Plan and schedule coverage for vacations, holidays, and other absences, coordinating personnel accordingly.
  • Monitor workflow, balance staff, and track productivity using labor management systems.
  • Evaluate colleagues' performance, coach, reward, and address performance issues.
  • Reduce overtime using planning tools.
  • Coordinate with Transportation and Inventory Control to optimize flow and product integrity.
  • Foster an environment of involvement, quality, and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate colleague records and documentation.
  • Address colleague relations issues and department needs.
  • Work with Inventory Control to minimize warehouse shrink.
  • Ensure warehouse appearance, maintenance, and security.
  • Enforce safety rules and participate in safety initiatives.
  • Conduct stay interviews and follow-up on colleague feedback.
  • Review and approve time records for payroll accuracy.
  • Ensure safe use of warehouse computers and RF equipment.
  • Comply with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Support food safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities or projects as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervise 15-25 colleagues.
  • Manage staffing, performance, and confidentiality in accordance with policies and laws.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, analyze data, and solve problems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • 3-5 years warehouse experience or equivalent.
  • Supervisory training required.
Language Skills
  • Ability to interpret business and technical documents.
  • Effective report writing and presentation skills.
Mathematical Skills
  • Basic math, rate, ratio, percent, and graph interpretation.
Reasoning Ability

Work proactively, address issues, and solve problems using experience and judgment. Solutions may vary in complexity.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Material handling certification or ability to obtain it.
Physical Requirements

Must frequently lift/move up to 40 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds, and perform physical tasks as described. Reasonable accommodations available.

Work Environment

Warehouse setting with varying temperatures, exposure to equipment, chemicals, and outdoor conditions. Noise level usually loud.
