Job summary

New Path Youth and Family Services is seeking a Relief Worker for overnight shifts at the Live-in Treatment Center in Cookstown. The role provides crisis intervention and supportive care to youth and families in a 24-hour therapeutic setting.

The position requires CYW or equivalent education and at least some experience with youth with complex needs; travel within the center may be required, and the role is casual overnight work. Apply to join a team dedicated to mental health supports.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary Education, Child and Youth Worker(CYW) or equivalent.
• Two years' experience supporting youth with complex needs in a therapeutic environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight coverage in the Live-in Treatment house(s).
• Support youth and families experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a 24-hour therapeutic setting.
• Deliver crisis intervention as required using Ministry-approved training.
