Job summary

Randstad Canada is partnering with a leading heavy industrial manufacturing facility in Edmonton, AB, seeking a Journeyperson Millwright for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing heavy production machinery, with night shift options and a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, reading blueprints, and collaborating with operators for reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Certification: Alberta Journeyperson Millwright or Red Seal.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on heavy industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
• Read blueprints and use precision tools to install or move machinery.
• Document maintenance activities and adhere to safety procedures.
