Job summary

CertainTeed, a Saint-Gobain subsidiary, is seeking an Industrial Millwright in Redcliff to perform maintenance and repairs, ensuring equipment runs with minimal downtime. The role requires reading drawings, welding, and the ability to work variable shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Ideal candidates will hold Alberta Journeyman/Millwright or Red Seal, with 3–5 years in industry, CMMS and SAP experience, and strong troubleshooting skills within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Alberta Journeyman/Millwright or Red Seal.
• 3–5 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMS and SAP.
• Ability to read drawings and machine parts from a sketch or sample.
• Welding experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to machinery and plant systems including mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machinery.
• Use precision tools and fabricate parts and guarding.
• Assemble and install machinery such as mixers, saws, conveyors, gearboxes, etc.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns to meet production requirements.
• Support World Class Manufacturing initiatives.
• Participate in process and machine improvements.
