Job summary

Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. is seeking an experienced full-time Millwright to join our Red Deer, Alberta facility. The role involves repairing, troubleshooting, and installing machinery, reading manuals and schematics, and tracking maintenance using our system.

Ideal candidates will have Journeyman Millwright/Industrial Mechanic status with Red Seal preferred, strong math and reading skills, and aptitude for hands-on work. Day/night shifts, weekends/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeyman Millwright/Industrial Mechanic/Heavy Duty Mechanic/ Hydraulic Mechanic - IP Red Seal preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Aptitude for setting up, tearing down, and rebuilding machinery and equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of computer programs.
• Good written, oral communication and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills, geometry and trig helpful.

Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot and install machinery and equipment using various tools.
• Read repair documents, manuals, blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
• Track maintenance and repair using the maintenance management system.
