Job summary

XTL Transport Inc. seeks an experienced Night Dispatcher/Planner to coordinate and monitor daily routes for our fleet, ensuring timely deliveries. You will maintain real-time communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep service levels high.

This 12-hour shift (5:00 PM to 5:00 AM) offers hybrid work from office and home. The role involves managing hours of service, updating dispatch systems, and planning resources to meet service commitments in a fast-paced

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience preferred; training possible.
Geographical knowledge considered an asset.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor daily routes for the fleet to ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain real-time communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Manage hours of service and update dispatch systems to support compliance.
Plan drivers to meet service level requirements of 98%+.
Respond to operational issues including equipment breakdowns, delays, or cancellations.
Monitor road and weather conditions and inform drivers of closures.
