Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Logistics Dispatcher Coordinator to manage and coordinate delivery schedules from a virtual hub. This fully remote role communicates with drivers, plans routes, and resolves dispatch issues, connecting with our network across South Africa.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in dispatch or logistics, strong communication skills, and proficiency with dispatch software. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant dispatch or logistics coordination experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote work.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and route planning tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision from home.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities for a fleet of drivers.
• Assign routes and schedules and monitor progress in real time.
• Communicate updates to drivers via phone and messaging apps.
• Resolve dispatch issues, reroute as needed, and document actions.
• Maintain logs of dispatch activity and driver performance.
• Collaborate with customer service and warehouse teams for smooth shipments.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and delivery protocols.
