Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping in Windsor, Ontario has an immediate opportunity for a Tooling Engineer on the New Model Team. You will support new product launches, coordinate tooling and fixtures, and work closely with engineering, purchasing and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has program management experience and a stamping/weld background, with post-secondary engineering education recommended. We offer a competitive CAD 70,000–95,000 salary with comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Program management experience required.
• Stamping and welding background preferred.
• Strong teamwork and self-motivation in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on New Product Launches.
• Source and track Equipment, Tooling and Weld fixtures.
• Use Microsoft Project to manage schedules.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Order materials to support early builds.
• Ensure tools are approved before shipment.
• Support APQP meetings for tooling delivery.
• Mentor manufacturing engineers.
• Collaborate with purchasing to quote tooling packages.
• Direct manufacturing engineer actions and assignments.
