Job summary

F&P Mfg., Inc. in Tottenham, Ontario, is recruiting a Licensed Tool & Die Maker to support tooling creation and repair and to assist New Model Group with program launches and die trials.

The role requires two years of stamping experience in a high-volume automated environment; candidates should read blueprints and have experience with EDM/CNC. Eligible for a comprehensive benefit plan and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Tool & Die Maker with Certificate of Qualification or actively in the process of obtaining License.
• Minimum 2 years previous work experience in a high volume, automated stamping environment.
• Hands-on experience with various stamping operations (e.g. transfer, progressive, blanking).
• Proficient reading blueprints and sketches.
• EDM & CNC operating machine knowledge would be an asset.
• Familiarity with Japanese tooling would be an asset.
• May be exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.

Responsibilities

• Use of various equipment/tools to create and repair tooling, including grinders, welding equipment, machining equipment and overhead cranes.
• Support stamping operations and troubleshoot production problems.
• Assist New Model Group with program launches and die trials.
• Other duties as required.
