Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Tooling Engineer for the New Model Team. You will coordinate launches, source tooling, and collaborate across design reviews and APQP meetings to ensure on-time tool delivery.

The role requires project experience, stamping/welding background, and engineering education with certification preferred. A strong team player will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on New Product Launches.
• Source and track equipment, tooling and weld fixtures.
• Use Microsoft Project for scheduling.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Order materials for early builds and customer parts.
• Certify and approve tool engineering changes.
• Work with purchasing to quote and source tooling packages.
• Mentor and train manufacturing engineers.
• Support the New Model team to meet program goals.

The Tooling Engineer is responsible for supporting the new model team to achieve success in all programs.
