AtkinsRéalis in Canada invites recent graduates to join the Odyssey Program, a launchpad for engineering careers across global projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to diverse assignments while building a path toward future leadership.

Roles span fire protection, building mechanical and electrical engineering, and lighting design within the Mechanical & Electrical Division. Graduating in 2027 with a bachelor’s in mechanical or electrical engineering is required;

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (graduating in 2027).
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Fire Protection: Design of fire protection and sprinkler systems, risk assessment and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
• Building Mechanical Engineering: Design of HVAC, plumbing, steam, cooling water and related systems; includes calculations, specs, site support and commissioning.
• Building Electrical Engineering: Design of electrical distribution, power, lighting, grounding and building service systems for commercial, institutional, industrial projects.
• Lighting Design: Design of interior and exterior lighting systems and controls to meet safety, operational and energy-efficiency requirements.

Your role

While working in the Mechanical & Electrical Division at AtkinsRéalis, you could put your skills to work in one of these key areas:

• Fire Protection: Design of fire protection and sprinkler systems, Risk assessment and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

• Building Mechanical Engineering: Design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, steam, cooling water, and other building mechanical systems. Includes design calculations, specifications, site support, and commissioning.

• Building Electrical Engineering: Design of electrical distribution, power, lighting, grounding, and building service systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

• Lighting Design: Design of interior and exterior lighting systems and lighting controls to meet safety, operational, and energy-efficiency requirements.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $61,900 - $80,000 annually) Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
