Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Vancouver is seeking a new graduate Technician to join the Transmission, Distribution and Renewables Division. You will contribute to electrical design and drafting tasks for power infrastructure while benefiting from the Odyssey program’s mentorship and hands-on project exposure.

You'll collaborate with electrical and structural teams, develop 3D models, and participate in training aimed at shaping future leaders within a hybrid Canadian work environment.

Qualifications

• New graduate with a College's degree in civil or electrical engineering (Graduation in 2027).
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design and drafting team: design and develop overhead transmission and distribution lines, underground cable systems, and substations, transforming engineering concepts into construction-ready designs.
• Structural design and drafting team: design to help create and improve dams and water infrastructure through structural design, 3D modeling, and construction support.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $58,000 - $70,000 annually) Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
