AtkinsRéalis is launching the Odyssey Program for recent graduates across Canada, offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to diverse projects that challenge and inspire you in the early stages of your career. Qualifications

• New graduate with a bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil/Structural, Electrical or Mechanical engineering (Graduation in 2027).
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, test and support electrical systems used in hydropower facilities and renewable energy projects.
• Assess ground conditions and design slopes, retaining structures and tunnels for safe construction.
• Contribute to hydro civil infrastructure projects from planning through construction support.

Your Role

Skills

While working in the Hydropower and Geotechnical Division at AtkinsRéalis, you could put your skills to work in one of these key areas:

• Hydropower: Design, test, and support electrical systems used in hydropower facilities while gaining hands‑on experience in renewable energy projects.
• Geotechnical: Assess ground conditions and design slopes, retaining structures, excavations, tunnels, and underground infrastructure to support safe, resilient, and sustainable construction projects.
• Hydro Civil Structures: Design and deliver water infrastructure projects, including hydroelectric facilities, dams, waterways, roads, stormwater systems, and shoreline protection solutions, from planning and design through construction support.

About You

• New graduate with a bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil/Structural, Electrical or Mechanical engineering (Graduation in 2027).
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• A valid driver's license may be required for some positions.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $61,900 - $80,000 annually) Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
