AtkinsRéalis is launching the Odyssey Program in Canada for new graduates in electrical or structural engineering. You will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to diverse projects within a hybrid Canada-based work environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Substation Lines and Infrastructure design for reliable power delivery.
• Assist in Protection, Control and Automation systems for transmission, distribution, and generation facilities.
• Help develop Smart Grid and SCADA solutions for industrial automation and monitoring.
• Support Telecom systems enabling grid monitoring and protection infrastructure.
• Participate in System Studies and Sustainability analyses to optimize grid performance.

Your role

While working in the Transmission, Distribution and Renewables Division at AtkinsRéalis, you could put your skills to work in one of these key areas:

• Substation Lines and Infrastructure: Designs the infrastructure that delivers electricity across the grid, including substations, overhead power lines, underground cables, and the structures that support the safe and reliable delivery of power to communities.

• Protection, Control and Automation: Designs and implements protection, control, and automation systems for transmission, distribution, and generation facilities to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the power system.

• Smart Grid and SCADA: Develops and integrates industrial automation, monitoring, and control systems that help utilities operate and manage transmission, distribution, and power generation facilities.

• Telecom: Designs and supports the communication systems that enable utilities to monitor, control, and protect the electrical grid, including radio, fiber optic, and network infrastructure.

• System Studies and Sustainability: Uses engineering analysis and computer models to help utilities plan, improve, and maintain a safe and reliable electrical grid.

About you

• New graduate with a bachelor's degree in electrical or Structural engineering (Graduation in 2027).

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $61,900 - $80,000 annually) Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
