Job summary

AtkinsRéalis's Odyssey Program is designed for recent graduates, offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to diverse projects worldwide. You'll work in the Environment Division on acoustics, air quality, and remediation, gaining training and a path to become a future leader.

Qualifications

  • New graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (graduating in 2027).
  • Strong interest in environmental consulting, site assessment and remediation, air quality, and acoustics.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including travel to project sites as required.
  • Currently holds a Valid Canadian driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Acoustics, air quality, vibrations and climate change: Support air quality studies, emissions monitoring, and data analysis including assisting with acoustics and noise assessments
  • Assessment and remediation of contaminated sites: Support environmental site assessments and remediation through field investigations, environmental sampling, monitoring programs and technical reporting
  • Environmental assessments and community involvement: Contribute to environmental compliance, preparing mitigation plans and assessment for a variety of projects.
  • Hydrology: Support hydrology and water resource projects through fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting

Your role

While working in the EnvironmentDivision at AtkinsRéalis, you could put your skills to work in one of these key areas:

About you

  • New graduate with a bachelor's degree in Environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (graduating in 2027).

  • Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including travel to project sites as required.
  • Currently holds a Valid Canadian driver's license

Note: While graduates from a variety of environmental disciplines are encouraged to apply, candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background may be particularly suited for opportunities within our Air Quality and Acoustics team.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $61,900 - $80,000 annually) Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
