Job summary

Astreya is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Network Partner Data Platform team. You will design and implement automated workflows, data pipelines, and operational runbooks to manage partner data, contacts, and service agreements across multiple systems.

You’ll build ETL pipelines, API integrations, dashboards, and automated alerts, applying data quality principles and scalable automation in a large enterprise context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in automation engineering, data engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and GraphQL).
• Familiarity with SQL and data pipeline/ETL concepts.
• Experience with job scheduling and orchestration tools (Airflow, cron).
• Understanding of data quality principles (validation, deduplication, reconciliation).
• Comfortable working with large datasets across multiple source systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, updates, renewals, and data lifecycle management.
• Create self-service tools for bulk data operations without engineering support.
• Build automated alerting for stale data, missing information, or expiring service agreements.
• Build ETL pipelines that synchronize partner data across internal systems.
• Automate migration of legacy data from spreadsheets, wikis, and silos into the centralized platform.
• Develop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies and maintain data consistency.
• Build tools that auto-retrieve relevant partner contacts during incidents and automate escalation workflows.
• Develop dashboards tracking data quality, freshness, and platform adoption.
