Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and deploy enterprise automation across departments, leveraging Power Platform, Workato, Freshservice, and SharePoint Online. You will partner with IT, HR, Operations, Finance, and facilities to deliver scalable solutions that improve data quality and efficiency.

The role reports to the Director of Data Architecture and requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience building Power Automate workflows and Power Apps applications.
• Experience with Workato or enterprise integration platforms (iPaaS).
• Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience troubleshooting application and workflow issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise automation solutions.
• Build scalable, supportable automation using Power Platform, Workato, Freshservice, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Design automation frameworks for onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle, and service delivery.
• Create reusable automation components, workflows, templates, and integration patterns.
• Develop automated approval, routing, notification, and intake processes.
• Produce technical designs, workflow diagrams, and implementation documentation.
• Measure automation impact with time savings and efficiency metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption through training and governance.
