Job summary

Thales Canada is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support ship maintenance leads and the Service Delivery team. The role involves coordinating maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and safety, and managing tools, equipment, and documentation.

Travel may be required for docking periods, with a 40-hour work week in a hybrid setup. Strong organizational and procurement skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Possess a technical program diploma in a marine technical field.
• Minimum of four years of hands-on maintenance coordination experience in the last ten years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in procurement, project management or warehouse environments is desirable.
• Project experience interfacing with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance package support to Ship Maintenance Leads and Service Delivery team.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed to required quality and safety standards.
• Oversee tools and test equipment loans and material management for tasks.
• Assist in generating and managing reports and documentation (OQE).
• Maintain records and support procurement and subcontracting activities.
• Attend meetings and prepare agendas and minutes.
