We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and collaborative professional to join our team. This position will support national initiatives designed to strengthen the settlement sector's capacity to effectively respond to gender-based violence (GBV) experienced by newcomers and support the ongoing work of the National GBV Strategy for Agencies Serving Immigrants.
Working closely with settlement organizations, anti-violence partners, and sector stakeholders across Canada, this position will support the expansion of a national GBV Champion Network, facilitate sector-wide learning opportunities including our Champion Network, Webinars and oversee the delivery and sustainability of the Bridges to Safety: Building the Capacity of the Settlement Sector to Respond to Gender-Based Violence online training program. This role outside of supporting current activities and updates around the current model and course and finding more sustainable avenues for this work to continue its impact.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening coordinated, effective, and equitable settlement supports for newcomers, including equity-deserving groups and Francophone minority communities.
