We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, andcollaborative professional to join our team. This position will supportnational initiatives designed to strengthen the settlement sector's capacity toeffectively respond to gender-based violence (GBV) experienced by newcomers andsupport the ongoing work of the National GBV Strategy for Agencies ServingImmigrants.
Working closely with settlement organizations, anti-violencepartners, and sector stakeholders across Canada, this position will support theexpansion of a national GBV Champion Network, facilitate sector-wide learningopportunities including our Champion Network, Webinars and oversee the deliveryand sustainability of the Bridges to Safety: Building the Capacity of theSettlement Sector to Respond to Gender-Based Violence online training program.This role outside of supporting current activities and updates around thecurrent model and course and finding more sustainable avenues for this work tocontinue its impact.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengtheningcoordinated, effective, and equitable settlement supports for newcomers,including equity-deserving groups and Francophone minority communities.
