Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. in Halifax is seeking a MAPP Coordinator for a targeted programming initiative.

This contract role (Aug 2026–Feb 28, 2027) focuses on engaging key stakeholders and Temporary Foreign Workers across 3–5 communities to advance migrant worker rights, inclusion, and partnerships. You will coordinate project deliverables, facilitate partner meetings, and build collaborations with regional service providers to connect migrant workers with local resources.

Qualifications

• Spanish is an essential qualification for this role.
• Knowledge in community development or non-profit management and/or equivalent experience.
• Excellent organizational and proven record of project management skills.
• Good understanding of diversity issues and experience of working in cross-cultural settings.
• Ability to work effectively with representatives of the public and private sectors.
• Proven track record of working with multiple stakeholders to catalyze collaboration.
• Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and public speaking skills.
• High level of initiative to work independently and respond to unanticipated items.

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate the engagement of key stakeholders and contacts in meeting the MAPP project deliverables.
• Guide and supervise the engagement of the MAPP project plan with partner organizations to ensure targets are met.
• Facilitate regular meetings of partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration and share educational materials for migrant workers.
• Outreach and liaise with other Service Provider organizations to develop partnerships and promote MAPP objectives.
• Liaise with community partners to connect migrant workers to local resources and services.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
• Create and maintain project documentation, plans, and reports.
• Work closely with project partners to ensure coordinated progress on all components.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, highly organized, strategicrapport builder to join our team as a MAPP Coordinator. Working veryclosely with a partner organization, the position will focus on engaging keystakeholders and TFWs (Temporary Foreign Workers) in 3–5 different communitieswith objectives to:

• Increasemigrant workers awareness and understanding of their rights andresponsibilities through educational activities and information products.
• Fosterinclusion and welcoming of migrant workers through social, cultural,and/or recreational events.
• Createnew partnerships or leverage existing partnerships/networks to supportmigrant workers.
• Developand implement coordinated approaches among community organizations, and/orbuild their capacity and knowledge to provide resources and services tomigrant workers.
• Facilitatecollaboration with stakeholders and engagement with migrant workers toensure responsive and informed activities and create improved outcomes formigrant workers community connection.

In this Role, You Will

• Outreachand liaise with other Service Provider organizations in the region todevelop partnerships, share and coordinate project objectives and promoteMAPP project.
• Liaisewith community partners to connect migrant workers to locally availableresources and services.
• Actas the point of contact and communicate project status to allparticipants.
• Createand maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
• Workclosely with the project partners to ensure coordinated progress on allproject components.

Education and Skills Qualifications

• Experiencefacilitating large and small groups.
• Highlevel of initiative is needed to work independently and respond tounanticipated items.
• Scheduleflexibility to accommodate variations outside of regular business hours,as needed.
• ValidNova Scotia driver's license, reliable vehicle and ability to travel.
