Job summary

Simon Fraser University invites applications for a Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations, facilities, budget administration and program activities for all Multifaith Centres. You will supervise staff and volunteers and support Co‑op students.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least three years in program development or office management are required. Knowledge of religious pluralism and trauma-informed practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three years of related experience in business process improvements, development, implementation and evaluation of post-secondary student programs/services/policies, and three years in budget, personnel and office management.
• Excellent knowledge of religious pluralism, spirituality and diversity issues in post-secondary education.
• Excellent planning, organizational, administrative and managerial skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain contacts within professional and social networks in faith communities.
• Ability to liaise for students seeking religious accommodations in administrative processes and resources.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations, facilities management, budget administration and program activities for all Multifaith Centres.
• Supervise support and volunteer staff and mentor Co‑op students.
• Oversee Multifaith Centres IT management and implement hardware/software for office administration.
