Job summary

Equilibrium is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to support payroll, AP/AR, month-end close and financial reporting across multiple entities in a hybrid Vancouver setting.

The role requires accuracy and strong organizational skills to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines. You will handle bi-weekly payroll for three entities in QuickBooks, process invoices, perform reconciliations and contribute to management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 3–5 years accounting/payroll experience.
• Working knowledge of AR, AP, payroll, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Experience with QuickBooks and payroll systems; Deltek VantagePoint is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Payroll administration: bi-weekly processing for three entities in QuickBooks.
• Accounts receivable: invoicing, collections, and AR reporting.
• Accounts payable: vendor invoices, payments, and vendor records.
• General accounting: weekly bank and monthly card reconciliations; GL review.
• Month-end close: reconciliations, schedules, and close activities.
• Financial reporting: routine and ad-hoc analyses for management.
