Job summary

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) in Calgary is seeking an Account Representative to drive the growth of our homeowner mortgage loan insurance portfolio. You will build strong relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders to promote CMHC products and services, expanding our market reach.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in financial services, client-facing or business development roles.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending activities and CMHC's mortgage loan insurance products.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Capable of managing full sales cycle and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong ties with financial institution partners to promote CMHC's mortgage loan insurance products.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and market analysis.
• Manage full sales cycle for client portfolio including prospecting, onboarding, retention and expansion.
• Analyze data to develop and execute sales strategies for CMHC mortgage loan insurance within FI clients.
• Manage client portfolio with focus on volumes, activity and lender retention; lead training and client visits.
• Deliver engaging presentations and trainings virtually and at client events; support strategic client initiatives.
• Manage portfolio budget and resources to ensure optimum client service and efficiency.
