Job summary

Levitt-Safety Limited is seeking a Field Service Technician in Sudbury, Ontario to inspect and service vehicle fire suppression and Fire & Life Safety equipment at customer sites. The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to work hands-on, and a willingness to travel to multiple sites across Sudbury.

The ideal candidate has experience with mechanical or electrical systems and basic tools, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Are you mechanically minded and enjoy working with your hands? JoinLevitt-Safety as a Field Service Technician and build specialized skills in fire suppression and Fire & Life Safety systems.

This is a hands-on, mobile role working at customer sites across Sudbury.Fire suppression experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right candidate with mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems and Fire & Life Safety equipment.
• Work with systems from Ansul, Kidde, Fogmaker and Amerex.

What You Bring

• Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with vehicles, equipment, machinery or similar systems.
• Experience with mechanical or electrical systems and hand/power tools.
• Fire suppression or fire protection experience is an asset, not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and technology.
• Valid driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Ability to pass required background and drug & alcohol screening.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work around large equipment, climb ladders and work in confined or restricted spaces.
