Job summary

Levitt-Safety is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and maintain vehicle fire suppression and Fire & Life Safety systems across Sudbury. This hands-on, mobile role requires mechanical aptitude and a valid driver's license, with training provided for the right candidate.

Work at customer sites across Sudbury, inspecting, repairing and documenting service, while maintaining the service vehicle and equipment. Fire protection experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with vehicles, equipment, machinery or similar systems.
• Experience with mechanical or electrical systems and hand/power tools.
• Fire suppression or fire protection experience is an asset, not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and technology.
• Valid driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Ability to pass required background and drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems and Fire & Life Safety equipment.
• Work with systems from Ansul, Kidde, Fogmaker and Amerex.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues using hand and power tools.
• Complete inspections, service reports and required safety documentation.
• Maintain your service vehicle, tools and inventory.
• Provide basic customer training and support.
• Represent Levitt-Safety professionally at customer sites.
