Job summary

Royal York Property Management seeks experienced plumbers to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing at residential properties across Ontario. You will work independently, manage appointments via a mobile app, and document findings and parts used to protect properties from leaks and water damage.

Candidates should have 5+ years of professional plumbing experience, valid trade status, and the ability to operate within a defined scope. Travel between properties using your own vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of paid professional plumbing experience.
• Must hold valid plumber trade status that can be verified.
• Ability to diagnose and complete assigned plumbing service jobs independently without supervision.
• Legally able to perform plumbing work through a contractor or business setup.
• Experience with common residential plumbing repairs and service calls.
• Own vehicle to travel between appointments and carry tools.
• Own plumbing tools and service supplies.
• Own smartphone capable of GPS, reading work orders, and submitting updates.
• Strong understanding of plumbing safety and leak control.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and GPS-friendly with appointments.
• Arrive within 30 minutes of scheduled time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing problems before recommending repairs or replacement.
• Complete residential plumbing service calls and repairs within your verified scope.
• Repair leaks, toilets, faucets, sinks, drains, and fixtures.
• Complete fixture replacements and simple appliance connections where appropriate.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify leak sources.
• Respond to active leaks and mitigate water damage risk.
• Test repairs and check for leaks before leaving the property.
• Document findings, parts used, and follow-up needs.
• Take photos of issues, repairs, and completed work.
• Record updates and report unsafe conditions or scope issues.
• Use a mobile work app for orders, instructions, GPS navigation, and status updates.
• Travel between appointments using your own vehicle.
