Job summary

Royal York Property Management in Ontario is seeking experienced plumbers to join our network of service professionals. You will diagnose residential plumbing issues, perform repairs, and complete installations within your verified scope using a mobile work app.

The role requires reliable transportation, independent work, and the ability to document findings with photos and updates. You will travel between appointments, manage tasks, and ensure work is completed safely to protect properties from

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of paid professional plumbing experience.
• Must hold valid plumber trade status that can be verified.
• Able to diagnose and complete assigned plumbing service jobs independently without supervision.
• Legally able to perform plumbing work through a contractor or business setup.
• Experience completing residential plumbing repairs and service calls.
• Must have own vehicle to travel between appointments and carry tools and supplies.
• Must have own plumbing tools and common service supplies for the scope of work.
• Smartphone capable of using GPS, mobile work apps, taking photos, reading work orders, and submitting updates.
• Strong understanding of plumbing safety, property protection, leak control, and legal scope.
• Able to test work and report unresolved or additional problems.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with GPS-confirmed appointments.
• Must arrive no later than 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing problems before recommending repairs or replacement.
• Complete residential plumbing service calls and repairs within the verified scope.
• Repair leaks, toilets, faucets, sinks, drains, shut-off valves, supply lines, and fixtures.
• Complete fixture replacements and simple dishwasher or laundry connections when appropriate.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify leaks or other problems.
• Respond to active leaks and take steps to reduce water damage risk.
• Test completed repairs and check for leaks before leaving the property.
• Record findings, parts used, and recommended follow-up work.
• Take clear photos of the issue, area, damaged components, and completed work.
• Report unsafe conditions or work outside the approved scope.
• Use a mobile work app to manage work orders, instructions, GPS navigation, and updates.
• Travel between appointments using your own vehicle.
