Job summary

Discovery Kidd is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Reliability & Planning Coordinator to support mine operations in Canada. You will report to the Superintendent, Mobile Maintenance, and focus on delivering the mine plan through proactive maintenance and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

The role requires 5+ years in leadership and 10+ years underground maintenance, plus solid mechanical knowledge. Competitive benefits and a defined contribution pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership capacity.
• Minimum of 10 years in underground maintenance experience.
• Trade Certification or degree Mechanical Engineering/Technology would be considered an asset
• Up to date technical knowledge and mechanical skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure planned availability to deliver on the mine plan within budgeted costs.
• Promote collaboration between Operations, Planning and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Lead proactive/predictive/ preventative maintenance and root-cause investigations to prevent reoccurrences.
• Coordinate with warehousing and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support improvements.

The Position

Reporting to the Superintendent, Mobile Maintenance, the Coordinators’ primary objective is to provide the planned availability to deliver on the mine plan for all processes to meet the budgeted tonnage at or below budgeted costs. The ideal candidate will promote a constructive, can do, collaboration effort between Operations, Planning and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and full entitlement, to deliver on the weekly, monthly, quarterly production plans.

The Coordinator will foster a culture across departments of doing the basics well ensuring Proactive/Predictive/Preventative maintenance activities are executed in a safe, efficient, timely manner and to high-quality standard. As well, keeping with our vision for continuous improvement, will champion working with key stakeholders to facilitate investigations of significant or repeat functional failures in order to understand root cause and provide solutions to prevent reoccurrences. Working with warehousing, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure materials, services or repairable deliver on expectations to support the business through sustainable improvements within those processes.

Compensation And Benefits

Competitive total compensation package including:

• Annual compensation of CAD$104,000 to CAD$130,000.
