Job summary

AVI Health & Community Services in Victoria, BC is seeking a CRCL Coordinator to oversee daily operations and frontline care for a mobile crisis response team serving youth and adults. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality service delivery, and coordinate with leadership and community partners in a trauma-informed, harm-reduction framework.

The role requires crisis de-escalation, ethical decision-making, and strong collaboration with emergency services, housing and health providers.

Qualifications

• Experience providing mental health care within crisis settings is required.
• Leadership and daily staff supervision experience are essential.
• Demonstrated harm reduction and trauma-informed approaches are expected.
• Strong ethical decision-making and safety planning skills are required.
• Cultural humility and anti-racism awareness are assets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and service delivery for the CRCL Victoria team.
• Provide daily staff support, coaching, debriefing, and check-ins.
• Maintain relationships with CRCL staff, leadership, and community partners.
• Ensure service reporting quality and transparency to leadership.
• Attend calls and engage in outreach, including dispatch and field work.
