AVI Health & Community Services is seeking a Community Crisis Responder to join the CRCL team. You will provide acute mobile crisis support and de-escalation for youths and adults, delivering rapid assessment, safety planning and follow-up in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Degree in mental health field (counselling, social work or psychiatric nursing) required or asset.
• Minimum 2–3 years relevant experience in mental health services, crisis response, and case management.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel within Comox Valley and surrounding areas.

Responsabilidades

• Provide rapid point of service mental health crisis management and de-escalation.
• Develop comprehensive safety plans and establish post crisis follow-up care.
• Coordinate with Dispatch/Coordinator and other care providers.
• Maintain culturally safe, trauma-informed approaches across all encounters.
