Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited seeks a skilled maintenance welder to support safe, continuous mining operations at the Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, Ontario. Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will interpret plans, perform welds (FCAW, GMAW, GTAW) and field installations while upholding health, safety and environmental standards.

You read blueprints, select fillers, coordinate with field crews and complete mobile equipment repairs.

Qualifications

• Precise measurement and take-offs
• Experience with CMMS for maintenance tracking
• 5+ years in a similar mining role preferred
• Demonstrated teamwork and self-starting work ethic

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and diagrams to perform welding and install work
• Perform FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and oxyacetylene welding per project needs
• Complete mobile equipment repairs and box/bucket re-lines as required
• Coordinate with field labor crews for efficient installations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory codes, safety standards and company requirements
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor
