Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, ON. You will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure goals are met while upholding safety and environmental standards.

The role involves planning work orders, scheduling activities, coordinating with suppliers and the JDE Ontario team as site expansion progresses, and contributing to KPI analysis and site improvements.

Qualifications

• Collegial degree or red seal certification in industrial maintenance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities; leadership capabilities.
• Organised and able to prioritise, work autonomously.
• Clear written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, document, schedule, print and close maintenance work orders.
• Generate and distribute weekly maintenance schedules for surface infrastructure.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and materials for upcoming maintenances.
• Set up and manage a kitting area for planned maintenance activities.
• Contribute to improvements in the maintenance program and processes.
• Maintain and manage site asset documentation and records.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent and working in close collaboration with your team members as well as members of other areas of the division, you will be a part of the Upper Beaver Operations Department. You will ensure goals and objectives are attained, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s company culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Works, shares and collaborates with general supervisors, supervisors and maintenance personnel as well as with other members of the maintenance team;
• Plan, document, schedules, print and close work orders;
• Generate and distribute weekly work schedules for the different maintenance activities required for surface infrastructures;
• Plan and prepare the materials and subcontractors required for upcoming maintenances for fixed infrastructures and equipment;
• Set-up and manage a kitting area for planned maintenance activities;
• Adjust and improve the existing maintenance program;
• Coordinate with the JDE Ontario team to add new assets, parts lists, inventory items and maintenance programs to the computerized maintenance system as the Upper Beaver site expands;
• Contribute to the Operations Team’s objectives and to the key performance indicators used to analyse those objectives;
• Manage the documentation (IOMs, plans, parts lists, NDT reports, supplier inspection reports, etc.) relative to the assets on-site;
• Be proactive in suggesting improvements to the maintenance program and practices for the site.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Collegial degree or red seal certification in industrial maintenance or a related field, or equivalent pertinent experience;
• Good technical skills and initiative;
• Organised, meticulous, with a strong sense of analysis and leadership capabilities;
• Able to organise time and priorities effectively, to work autonomously;
• Ease of communication, both written and oral.

5 x 2 schedule or 4 x 3 schedule at our Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, ON.
