Sandvik Mining is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support equipment sales and application engineering across Canada. The role bridges sales and engineering, translating mine plans into technical equipment recommendations and ready-to-use reference cases.

You will travel across Canada to engage with customers, support site visits, and ensure operational readiness prior to delivery, while collaborating with product teams and sales managers.

Competenze

• Engineering degree or diploma required.
• 3+ years in technical sales preferred.
• Proficiency with Deswik or CAD software required.
• Experience with Claude or AI platforms is required.
• Strong data analysis to build performance narratives.
• Excellent communication and travel readiness (Canada-wide).

Mansioni

• Provide technical sales support and equipment sizing for underground drilling and loading equipment.
• Develop clear drawings and layouts to communicate proposed equipment fit within client sites.
• Create reference cases from field performance data to support new business.
• Respond to technical RFQs and support site visits and demonstrations.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers, Product Managers and Apps to ensure readiness.
• Travel to customer sites across Canada (~25–40%).
• Compile and maintain client documentation and readiness checklists.
