  • Identify operational challenges and align UAV solutions to meet customer and industry needs.
  • Establish workflow standards, inputs, outputs, success criteria, and documentation requirements.
  • Continuously refine workflows based on field validation, customer feedback, and operational results.
Technical Advisory & Customer Engagement
  • Serve as a mining subject matter expert during customer discussions, solution design sessions, and support activities.
  • Help define solution approaches and expected outcomes based on customer requirements.
  • Provide guidance on real-world applications, best practices, and operational considerations.
  • Support customer communications, presentations, and technical consultations.
Sales & Market Support
  • Support sales teams by translating mining challenges into solution-focused conversations.
  • Participate in demonstrations, tradeshows, industry events, and customer engagements.
  • Contribute industry expertise to support market positioning and business development activities.
Field Operations & Solution Validation
  • Participate in field deployments and mining operations to validate workflows in real-world conditions.
  • Support mission planning and execution alongside operations teams.
  • Evaluate workflow performance and identify gaps between expected and actual results.
  • Ensure solutions are practical, repeatable, and aligned with operational constraints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with GIS, data, and technical teams to ensure workflows align with data processing requirements and deliverables.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to capture, standardize, and improve operational processes.

  • You are a trusted advisor who builds strong relationships with customers and aligns solutions with their operational goals.
  • You thrive in the field and enjoy validating solutions in real operating environments, identifying opportunities to improve performance and usability.
  • You collaborate effectively across teams and use feedback from customers and field operations to continuously refine and improve workflows.
  • You are naturally curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by helping customers achieve better outcomes through innovative technology.
Qualifications
  • Postsecondary education in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Environmental Science, Geomatics/GIS, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the mining sector (e.g., mine planning, surveying, geotechnical engineering, drill and blast, or mine operations)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate industry challenges into structured, repeatable workflows and validate them against real-world field conditions
  • Strong customer-facing or advisory experience, with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Operations, and GIS/Data teams
