Job summary

Geovert is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Mining to lead mining projects across North America, ensuring delivery, client satisfaction and strong financial performance. This role reports to the Director of Mining and involves coordinating with Site Supervisors and Operations while maintaining regular site visits.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mining/Civil/Geotechnical engineering, 5+ years in mining, and a proven track record in leading dispersed teams and managing project

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people skills in a multi-site mining environment.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and contracts.
• Solid understanding of project economics, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams across North America.
• Willingness to travel regularly across North America.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction across mining projects.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting and overall financial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Support tender preparation, project planning and mobilisation.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and support Site Supervisors to achieve project objectives.
