Heavy Duty Mechanics - 4/4 Rotation - FIFO + Accommodations Provided - $45/hr - Resolute, NU

ATCO Frontec is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their Site Services department in Resolute Bay, Nunavut. This role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment in a remote Arctic environment, with a unique rotation schedule and all travel, accommodation, and meals provided. The ideal candidate is a Red Seal certified mechanic who thrives in challenging conditions and is committed to safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Need

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification is preferred
• Valid class 3 driver’s license is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage time and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to weld (gas and AC/DC) is an asset
• Experience working in a remote environment is an asset
• Strong commitment to workplace safety requirements and procedures
• Physically able to perform strenuous and demanding tasks (lifting, pulling, etc.)
• Preparedness to work in extreme weather conditions
• Successful completion of pre-employment alcohol & drug test, fit to work medical test, and criminal record check
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance
