Job summary

MATRIX is seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Mechanic (Journeyperson/Red Seal) to support maintenance and repairs of our heavy equipment at a remote Nunavut camp. This hands-on role requires safety focus and strong attention to detail, with a team-oriented approach.

CAT equipment experience and proficiency with CAT ET and SIS are preferred. The position offers a Fly-In Fly-Out schedule with a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, onsite with the maintenance team in remote shop conditions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating.
• Install upgrades and manage corrosion control; complete winterization.
